Shanxi Jinhai Clean Energy Co., Ltd. was established in March 2022 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fan's Holding Group.
The 500MW/1GWh shared energy storage power station project in Yuanping City, Shanxi Province, is invested and constructed by Shanxi Jinhai Clean Energy Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the group. The project covers a total area of 179.26 mu and has a total investment of 2.3 billion yuan. The project has a construction scale of 500MW/1GWh, adopts a centralized layout, and designs 25 regional subsystems of 20MW/40MWh; using high energy density 2.5MW/5MWh energy storage system units, totaling 200 sets.
The energy storage power station mainly consists of energy storage battery system equipment, power conversion system equipment, step-up system equipment, control and protection equipment, ventilation and air conditioning equipment, fire protection equipment, etc. The key components of the energy storage system include four parts: energy storage battery pack, battery management system (BMS), power conversion system (PCS), and energy management system (EMS). The energy storage battery pack is the core component, used to store electrical energy. The power conversion system (PCS) is matched with the energy storage battery pack and is a device that connects the battery to the power grid to realize bidirectional conversion of electrical energy.
The project started construction in June 2023 and was connected to the grid on September 19, 2024. 300MW/600MWh has been completed, with an annual power generation of 1100 hours, an annual full-capacity power generation of approximately 215.4 million kWh, an annual operating income of approximately 18,300 yuan, an annual profit of 28.78 million yuan, and an annual tax payment of approximately 38.37 million yuan. After full-capacity grid connection (500MW/1000MWh), the annual power generation hours are 1100 hours, the annual full-capacity power generation is about 359 million kWh, the annual operating income is about 30,500 yuan, the annual profit is 47.97 million yuan, and the annual tax payment is about 63.96 million yuan.
This project will help Yuanping City improve the layout of the energy storage and new energy industry, build an integrated green energy industry system of source, network, load, and storage. It can effectively improve the absorption capacity of new energy, minimize the occurrence of wind and light abandonment, improve the operation capacity of the power grid, stabilize the safe operation of the power grid, and help Shanxi Province and Yuanping City achieve the goals of "carbon peak and carbon neutrality".
